NaPoWriMo: “write a poem that plays with voice”

We were golden

Shivering in starlight

Directed by moon dust symphony

I was brilliant

Burning the atmosphere

Kissing ice crystals

He was greedy

Eating gravity and light

Embarrassing us all

She was lost

Hidden behind brighter suns

Her Hubble Prince never saw her

We needed touch

But space was too far in-between

So we convulsed and collapsed

and cried.

She was I.

I was we.

I am him.

He is her.

We are us.
